THE SCHOOL, which began in 1965 under the direction of Sunny Davidson, has achieved accreditation three times by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, a prestigious recognition achieved by only 7% of early childhood programs nationwide. In fact, this is the only private pre-school within 30 surrounding counties to hold this achievement!
Our Preschool program begins at 2 years of age. Preschool classes begin at 9:00am and dismiss at noon each day. Extended care is available for pre-schoolers and can be structured to fit your family’s needs to provide care for your child before (as early as 7:15am) and / or after (as late as 5:15pm) their pre-school class.
We are convinced that the children we work with each day are gifts from God, each unique and gifted in a special way, each able to teach us as much as we hope to teach them. They are worthy of our respect, expressed in words and interactions with the children, and our best efforts each and every hour we are with them. We are their guides and facilitators as they discover and explore the world around them.
Each child has only this moment developmentally, physically, socially and intellectually. Then the child moves on, and the chance to pass on what one needs is gone. It is, therefore, our responsibility as parents, teachers, and caregivers to make every day, in every way count for each child.
