Our YES (Young Energetic Seniors) Committee loves to plan trips for senior citizens, though all adults are invited to come along! We always have fun and often see some great sites and events!

As in years past, the YES Committee is sponsoring a trip to the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas for a Christmas Concert. This year, the concert will feature Mary Preston on organ.
- Date: December 10, 2009
- Time: Leave FUMC at 3:00pm
- Cost: $105 (includes chartered bus, dinner, and concert)

You won’t want to miss this YES sponsored MYSTERY TRIP to who knows where! These trips are always a LOT of fun, and this one will be, too! Here are the details:

A trip to the Granbury (TX) Opera House to hear a lively musical about America has been scheduled by the YES Committee for Saturday, June 27th.
“America the Beautiful” is the show title with lyrics and music proclaiming a patriotic theme telling, “What’s right about America.” The historic Granbury Opera House on the square is a favorite theater trip for YES travelers.
Trip Details:
- Date: Saturday, June 27, 2009
- Time: Leave FUMC at 9:00am
- Destination: Granbury Opera House to see the matinee performance of the musical, “America the Beautiful”
- Cost: $35 / person, which includes ticket and transportation via the church bus.

Traveling on YES Roadrunner Trips is one of the most fun things we do. We have had overnight trips to such places as Nachez (MS), Branson (MO), Texas Hill Country, Salado, and Palo Duro Canyon, as well as many day trips to the Dallas Meyerson Symphony Center, Fort Worth Kimbell Museum, Granbury Opera House, Bass Performance Hall, and more.
