DUO is a sitting and transportation service to benefit FUMC caregivers and others with crisis need.
If you have a loved one who needs someone to sit with them from time-to-time, you are eligible for the sitting service. If you are not driving and you have a crucial need to get to an appointment, you are eligible for the transportation service.
If you would like to help with this service or are in need of this service, call Joyce Barham at 766-4231 or send her e-mail.

The Fruit of the Spirit is a cookbook for you—a book that includes your cherished family recipes from your personal family and your church family. There are also recipes of “extended family,” friends and family members outside First United Methodist Church. Each contributor’s name is listed with the recipe.
Cookbooks sold for $15 (but are now sold out), and proceeds from the sale of these cookbooks benefited the PowerPak 4 Kids program, which provides food on the weekends for elementary school children who would otherwise go hungry.
If you have any questions, call Sue Babb, 767-1079 or Jeanne Rigg, 692-5130.
