For January 1, 2012, guest preacher the Rev. Jimmy Greene uses Psalm 23 to bring a sermon titled, “Dependence”. Rev. Greene, originally from West Africa, is a graduate of Perkins School of Theology and appointed by Bishop Earl Bledsoe of the North Texas Conference to serve as campus minister to students at Midwestern State University.

Next is Mrs. Faye Canafax speaking about the things we can learn from playing with our toys followed by the Rev. Paul Goodrich.

What if Jesus had been born today – in Mexico?

When tasked by the youth director, Jeff Ginn, with re-telling the nativity story, the Sr. High went with that exact approach.  The purpose of the “assignment” was to add some fun to the annual Youth Christmas Party, which was held Sunday, December 18, 2012 at the First Rock Ministry Building.  This is a lot of fun!
