Senior High Guys Sunday School
The Senior High guys are starting a Sunday School series based on the movie “Rudy,” which will focus on commitment. We will discuss what it takes to stay true to your values and life goals.
Guest Speaker Led Youth Sunday School
Recently, the Sr. High Guys Sunday School (aka Full Metal Jesus) have been studying the Bible through clips from Indiana Jones Movies. So, on March 29, 2009, Jeff Ginn had Rev. Sims come and talk to all of the Youth Sunday School Classes about the Ark of the Covenant, idolatry, and the Holy Graile.
Not only did the youth learn about the history and construction of the Ark, they also considered the issue of good things becoming idols and consuming our time. Also, by look at Mark 10 & 14, the youth learned that there is more to the “Holy Graile” than just being a cup. It has to do with our covenant with and commitment to God!
