The Summer Youth Musical at FUMC is a tradition that goes back to 1948. Each year, a cast of youth, crew members, adult production team members, and other youth and adult helpers get together for five weeks to put together a world-class production. Donations, program advertising, and ticket sales enable most productions to operate at a profit. The proceeds are then used for contributions to the Youth Service Fund, the Capital Funds Campaign of the church, Retreat and Camp Scholarships, and / or the Youth Scholarship.

The 2010 Summer Youth Musical is Meet Me in St. Louis!
Tickets are available from cast members, on Sunday morning, and in the church office during the week.
Performances are:
- Thursday, August 5, 7:00pm
- Friday, August 6, 7:00pm
- Saturday, August 7, 7:00pm
- Sunday, August 8, 2:00pm
Tickets:
- $10 per person for ages 11 and up
- $8 per person for ages 10 and under
As always, we’ll have ICE CREAM for intermission! You can make a monetary donation or bring homemade ice cream to ANY of the performances! For more information, contact Carla Rouse at jcrousehouse@att.net or 689-9986.

The 2010 Summer Youth Musical has been chosen. It will be Meet Me in St. Louis. Youth who have completed grades 6-12 by June 2010 are encouraged to audition for a role in this fun musical. Auditions are set for:
- Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 5:00-8:00pm
- Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 1:00-4:00pm

The 2009 Summer Youth Musical Production of Bye, Bye Birdie will be coming to FUMC on:
- Thursday, August 6 at 7:00pm
- Friday, August 7 at 7:00pm
- Saturday, August 8 at 7:00pm
- Sunday, August 9 at 2:30pm
Tickets cost:
- $10 / adult
- $8 / child (grade 6 and under)
Don’t forget to help out by helping to provide ice cream for intermissions! There a couple ways you can help:
- Checks can be made out to FUMC with “ice cream” written in the memo.
- As always, donations of homemade ice cream are welcome and encouraged! You can bring your ice cream just prior to any performance. There’s no need to sign up for a specific date.

Auditions for the 2009 Summer Youth Musical, Bye, Bye Birdie, are scheduled as follows:
- Thursday, April 23, 5:00pm here at FUMC;
- Sunday, April 26, 1:00pm here at FUMC.
Youth entering the 7th grade in Fall 2009 as well as 2009 graduating seniors are invited to audition.
Evening rehearsals for this event will begin on Monday, June 29 at FUMC.
Performances will be August 6, 7, & 8 at 7:00pm with a Sunday Matinee on August 9 at 2:00pm.
