Youth Music
The Music Programs for our youth are an excellent way to praise the Lord! Here is the rehearsal schedule for our groups:
- Praise Band Rehearsal: Sundays at 3:45pm on the 3rd Floor. This group leads UMYF Worship each Sunday evening, and occasionally they help to lead worship on Sunday Mornings or special services like the Easter Son-Rise Service.
For more information about Praise Band, contact Jeff Ginn, Youth Director: 940-766-4231, x230.- Chapel Choir Rehearsal: Sundays at 4:45pm in the Choir Room. This group often helps to lead Sunday morning worship and sometimes sings for special events.
For more information about Chapel Choir, contact Kristen Gossett, Music Director: 940-766-4231, x225.- Chapel Ringers Rehearse: Sundays at 5:30pm in the Choir Room. This group helps lead Sunday morning worship from time to time and they also play occasionally for special services or events.

Our annual Advent Celebration with beautiful music (featuring Children, Youth, and Adult Choirs along with ensembles), a live nativity, and candlelight will take place:

Following this beautiful service, we will have a Festival of Tables covered with goodies to eat and drink in Fellowship Hall.

Children & Youth Choirs Register at THE PLEX
On Wednesday, September 9, 2009, children and youth of FUMC gathered at THE PLEX for fun and fellowship – and also to register for upcoming vocal and handbell rehearsals. This was also the first session of the the school year for Music ‘n’ More, a combination of Children’s Choirs and Bible Study. It was a great time. . .
