This was a video created for the annual Christmas Party of the Youth of First United Methodist Church of Wichita Falls. This was a fun event held at The First Rock Ministry Building on Sunday, December 18, 2011!
Featured in this video are the staff members of the Youth Ministry: Jeff Ginn, Ross Hammond, and Dylan Haynes. Many thanks to Ethan Rouse for being the camera man!
We pray this fun song will help get you in the Christmas spirit!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Here are the lyrics:
“The Manger Rap”
Break it down…Away in a manger – No bed in his crib
The little baby Jesus – Tryin’ to sleep he was trippin’
I see stars in my eyes – Shinin’ light – shoot me down
The little baby Jesus – Whatcha’ doin’ in the hay?
The cows be jawin’ – Baby Jesus was hawin’
Though them cows say “holla” – Baby Jesus didn’t botha’
I feel you Big G – With your eyes on me
Stay by me holmes – have breakfast with me
Denny’s yeah – let’s get a grand slam…
Errrrrr… What?
The little baby Jesus – He’s one of my peeps
When we rollin’ with Jdog all you brothas should pray
Bless all da little homies – Big G watchin’ you
If ya wanna get the bling – gotta be in the posse.

The sanctuary was packed for this production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat that brought together 48 performers – not to mention directors, stage and tech crew, and others who worked behind the scenes to bring this great event to fruition.
If you missed the performance, you missed a really fun time as the inspirational story of the Joseph was told in song! It was great to see so many people from our community in our church who do not usually attend here. What a great outreach! Special thanks to Judy Braddy for set painting!
Check out pictures from this great event, thanks to DeEdra Folmar!
(Seekers of MORE reporting) The 5th-8th graders went to Fright Fest at Six Flags on October 10, 2011. We rode many rides and played many games. Below is a drawing we made inspired by the cool rollercoasters there.
Check out this pics from our trip!
Here’s a great video of our own Trinity Denson working to try to climb a crazy ladder
