Every year in the Fall (usually the month of September), we invite a world-renowned organist to give a special concert on our 2003 Garland Pipe Organ. Sometimes the concert focuses solely on the music, but from time-to-time, it has features silent movies. Either way, you will be thoroughly entertained!

This FREE showing of the silent movie, The Kid (1921), starring Charlie Chaplin
(and featuring world-renowned theater organist, Dennis James, on the Pipe Organ)
is the 6th Annual Elizabeth Prothro Organ Concert Series.

In addition to the great performance provided by Joyce on Saturday, which featured her amazing rendition of “Flight of the Bumble Bee” using only her feet, on Friday, she put on two concerts for a total of approximately 2,300 children (10am & 1pm). The kids were truly amazed at all the organ can do!

As always, the concert was offered with free admission! In addition, as a special treat, Hector Olivera offered an organ workshop in our Sanctuary the next day on Saturday, September 18, 10:00am. It was amazing!
