Tickets are available from cast members, on Sunday morning, and in the church office during the week.

Tickets:

• $10 per person for ages 11 and up
• $8 per person for ages 10 and under

The day will begin with worship at 8:30am & 10:30am featuring special music and fellowship.

After the 10:30am Worship Service, we’ll share in a picnic together in the church park.  The Genesis Sunday School Class has generously offered to provide hot dogs, but we need appropriate sides.  Can you bring:

• Potato Salad;
• Cole Slaw;
• Beans;
• Chips;
• Desserts;
• Watermelon; or
• OTHER – whatever you think goes well with hot dogs & the 4th of July?

This year’s theme is Galactic Blast: A Cosmic Adventure Praising God! The “cadets” will voyage into outer space praising God.  Through daily missions, your kids will see space like never before, gain a new perspective on our planet Earth, and learn easy “green” earth tips they can practice at home.  This cosmic combination of faith and fun will have your cadets developing a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

• God With Elijah at Mt. Horeb
• Jesus and the Woman at the Well
• Jesus Healing a Blind Beggar
• Jesus on the Road to Emmaus

Both services will feature the Easter Lily Procession, a tradition at First United Methodist Church since the 1940s.

Also, in lieu of Sunday School, we are inviting all adults and youth to share in the Fellowship Hour (9:15-10:15am).  Bring breakfast goodies to share in the Atrium and let our Youth Group inspire you in Fellowship Hall, beginning about 9:35am.

In this service, we will join together at Jesus’ table for a holy meal of bread and juice, and we will recall Jesus’ last hours through the music of Handel’s Messiah.  We hope you will share in this reverent time with us.

10:20am – Children Age 3 – Youth (up to Grade 12) are invited to gather in the Narthex of the Sanctuary to prepare for processing with Palm Branches to the altar rail, reliving Jesus’ triumphal entry;

11:30am – Join us for the Berean Sunday School Class Spaghetti Lunch in Fellowship Hall.
