A Multi-Colored, Multi-Generational Extravaganza! – November 13, 2011
The sanctuary was packed for this production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat that brought together 48 performers – not to mention directors, stage and tech crew, and others who worked behind the scenes to bring this great event to fruition.
If you missed the performance, you missed a really fun time as the inspirational story of the Joseph was told in song! It was great to see so many people from our community in our church who do not usually attend here. What a great outreach! Special thanks to Judy Braddy for set painting!
Check out pictures from this great event, thanks to DeEdra Folmar!

31′ Ramp Built in Less Than 3 Hours – October 29, 2011
It was a combined effort of FUMC Wichita Falls, FUMC Archer City, and Air Force personnel. First, a ramp that was too short, too steep, and too rotten had to be removed. In it’s place a new, sturdy ramp of 31 feet was built in just under 3 hours.
Initially, we thought we’d only have 6 volunteers, but as you can see in the picture, that number grew unexpectedly. Now that is a great problem to have!
If you are interested in taking part in building ramps with the Texas Ramp Project in the Wichita Falls area, contact Rev. Troy Sims (tsims@fumcwf.org or 940-766-4231).

(Seekers of MORE reporting) The 5th-8th graders went to Fright Fest at Six Flags on October 10, 2011. We rode many rides and played many games. Below is a drawing we made inspired by the cool rollercoasters there.

Women’s Brunch: Food for a Journey Towards God – October 22, 2011
It was entitled, “Our Forward, Inward, Upward, Outward, Journey toward God.” It entailed brunch with all sorts of goodies from sweet rolls to muffins, fruit to casserole, and coffee to water. It entertained with music by the Bel Canto Trio and Karen & Meagan Lamberth. It inspired by the words and example of Rev. Molly Goodrich.
Over sixty women – teenagers and up – came together on a Saturday morning to hear words of wisdom of how ALL are called to ministry. Just not all are called to ordained ministry. God is calling out to each of us, and Molly gave practical ways to hear and follow that call
