Kingdom Kids – Missions for K-2nd Grade

Each summer, children (K-2nd Grade, completed) have an opportunity to learn what it is to be in missions by study and by action. In the past, this group has:

  • Collected canned goods for Interfaith Ministries, learning how we can help others who are hungry.
  • Made cookies to take to local firefighters and non-profit workers.
  • Volunteered at Faith Mission, cleaning their chapel and living spaces.

After working, we usually share in a fun event such as bowling or swimming!

For more information, contact
Rev. Lydia Pellikan!

For this children’s activity, you will need to fill out a Medical Release Form.

Kingdom Kids – 1 (June 20, 2008)

During this mission project for children in grades K-2nd (completed), the children learned about 1 Corinthians 4:20 (The Kingdom of God is not about talk, but about power) and how we should use our “power” to help others and not just talk about it. Then we went to work at Faith Mission where we cleaned, vacuumed, and polished the chapel there. We also got a tour to see what happens at Faith Mission. For fun, we went bowling at Sheppard AFB! Fifteen children and 3 adults participated in this event.
