Seekers of MORE

We are the Seekers of MORE who seek happenings around the church from a kid’s point of view. We plan to be involved reporting kids around the church and activities we do outside the church.

Advent Study for Grades 4-6 – November 16, 2011

Grades 4-6 (including the 5th-6th grade Seekers of MORE) will learn the meaning of Advent as a part of MORE on Wednesday, November 16, 2011!

Our Children’s Director, Kim English, will help them answer these questions:

  • What is Advent?
  • How is it different than Christmas?
  • How do we celebrate it?

Texas Giant Sized Fun at Six Flags – October 10, 2011

(Seekers of MORE reporting) The 5th-8th graders went to Fright Fest at Six Flags on October 10, 2011.  We rode many rides and played many games.  Below is a drawing we made inspired by the cool rollercoasters there.
