The Bi-the-Way and The Journey Young Adult Sunday School Classes are joining forces on September 26 in Room 17-U of the Undercroft for the latest Adam Hamilton video study, When Christians Get It Wrong. This will look at certain attitudes and behaviors that often keep young adults from participating in church.

The Open Door Sunday School Class study of The Roman Empire and the New Testament by Warren Carter begins September 12, 2010.  This study will look at Roman society, culture, law, politics, religion, and daily life as they relate to the study of the New Testament.  It will show how different authors of the New Testament chose to respond to the Roman Empire in different (often opposing) ways.  Join them in Room 2-R of Rec. Lobby!

On September 12, 2010, the Genesis Sunday School Class, which meets in Rm 302, will begin Rabbi Harold S. Kushner’s book, Overcoming Life’s Disappointments: Learning From Moses How to Cope with Frustration, that uses the story of Moses to teach how to overcome disappointments and frustrations.  Kris Tilker will lead the discussion.
