All Saints Sunday School Class

All Saints Class Mission Statement:

To help those who are in need, both monetarily and spiritually.

  • We strive to fulfill our mission by studying the Bible, and by taking an offering each week to be able to help others.

About our class:

  • Our class was formed in the early 1990s when we felt a need to look more deeply at the Scriptures. Our name reminds us that we, with all the saints, should strive to comprehend the breadth, length, height and depth of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:18-19).
  • We are a class of Senior Citizens who enjoy our fellow members as well as the fellowship and knowledge we gain from studying the Bible. Our members are male and female, married and widowed, but all are welcome to attend!

What and how do we study?

  • To guide us in our study of the Bible, we use the International Lesson Series, also known as the Adult Bible Studies series. It presents stimulating lessons that explore the biblical message and how to apply it to daily life. It moves from a focus on the Word of God to reflection on personal, family, church, and community concerns. Gail Sogard is the teacher.

Where does the All Saints Class meet?

  • We meet on the 1st Floor of the Education Wing in Room 113 (aka the Sweeton Room), just outside the church office.

What time do we meet?

  • Our class meets from 9:15 to 10:15 each Sunday morning, allowing time for members to attend either the 8:30 or 10:30am Worship Services at FUMC.

If you have questions or comments, please contact Rev. Troy Sims at 940-766-4231 x229.
