FUMC Has a Relay for Life Team – JOIN NOW!
You can be on the team!
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a fun-filled, overnight experience you’ll never forget! Relay mobilizes communities throughout the country to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones, and raise money to support the mission of the American Cancer Society, which provides support for patients and families while seeking a cure for cancer.
This year, FUMC will have a team participating in the local Relay For Life, to be held:
- June 5-6, 2009
- At McNiel Junior High School
There are several ways to be involved in this worthy cause:
- You can sign up to be on the FUMC team;
- You can buy a luminaria in honor or memory of a loved one to line the track on the night of the Relay;
- Any cancer survivor can attend a dinner before the event and participate in the Survivor’s Lap;
- Sponsor a team member by donating money; or
- Providing snacks for the team members for the night of the Relay.
Team registration forms, luminaria forms, and other information about the Relay may be picked up in the Church office OR click here to find the same information. You can even register to be on our team or purchase luminarias there!
