FUMC Has a Relay for Life Team for 2010
Mark your calendars for the Wichita Falls Relay for Life on June 4-5, 2010 and join our team NOW!
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a fun-filled, overnight experience you’ll never forget! Relay mobilizes communities throughout the country to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones, and raise money to support the mission of the American Cancer Society, which provides support for patients and families while seeking a cure for cancer.
This year, FUMC will have a team participating in the local Relay For Life, to be held:
- June 4-5, 2010
- At McNiel Junior High School
There are several ways to be involved in this worthy cause:
- You can sign up to be on the FUMC team (CLICK HERE to sign-up on-line now. Our team name is FUMC- Wichita Falls!);
- You can buy a luminaria in honor or memory of a loved one to line the track on the night of the Relay (CLICK HERE purchase on-line now);
- Any cancer survivor can attend a dinner before the event and participate in the Survivor’s Lap (CLICK HERE for more information);
- Sponsor a team member; or
- Providing snacks for the team members for the night of the Relay.
