1st Annual Morning of Spiritual Renewal for Women
Sixty-five people participated in this inspiring, yet also entertaining, event where fellowship, brunch, and testimony was shared.
Leslie Bledsoe (wife of our Bishop in the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church) shared her story of losing her eyesight suddenly in 2002. Despite the loss of this sense, God continues to use her. Leslie also gave us insight into how to minister to the people going through difficult changes in life such as herself.
It was a wonderful event, and special thanks go to Maggie Goodrich and Cindy Carss for envisioning this event and making it happen! Thanks also goes to Kiyo Watanabe & Gitana Mims for beautiful music and Rev. Lydia Pellikan for the invocation.
